U-5, U-7 & U-57 2011 U-57 Sponsor Announcement

Ted Porter’s Precision Performance Engineering, LLC is pleased to announce the return of Formula Boats sponsorship for the U-57 hydroplane for the 2011 H1 Unlimited Air National Guard Series.

The U-57 was introduced to the public in 2010 as the third entry from the Decatur, Indiana based team. Competing at Tri-Cities, Seattle and San Diego and driven by N. Mark Evans, the U-57 FormulaBoats.com raced to a Final Heat appearance at San Diego where it joined team boats U-5 Formulaboats.com and the U-7 Graham Trucking / Air National Guard.

Formulaboats.com began its proud tradition of hydroplane racing in 2005 with the sponsorship of Chad Sanderson’s U-5. In 2006, Ted Porter acquired 2 former Miss Budweiser racing hulls and began their new campaign as the Formulaboats.com and Formulaboats.com II.

For 2011, the U-57 Formulaboats.com will be driven by championship hydroplane driver and author N. Mark Evans and newcomer Bianca Bononcini.
